RPG-7 is a shoulder fired, highly destructive, accurate anti tank weapon and has penetration power of 320 mm at a range of 500 mm. Features like portability and quick development has made it very effective weapon in anti tank role. The use of the weapon system has enabled the infantrymen to inflict heavy losses on enemy armour at short and medium ranges. They can now ambush advancing armour, seize and hold terrains and support friendly tanks. The weapon is currently on the inventory of Pakistan Army.
