Description. Light Weight Portable Bridge is used for keeping communication and infrastructure open. It is used in hilly areas, especially in glaciers. It is used in hilly areas for crossing crevices, nullah, and ditches upto 20 feet spans. It is modular in design by special aluminum alloy bridge. This bridge can sustain load of 400 kg with 100% safety margin. Six soldiers can pass through it at one time. The bridge can easily assembled in 30 minutes and can also be stripped off in 20 minutes.
